We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Security System Technician to join our dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about technology and security, and who are eager to take their career to the next level.
As a Security System Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various types of security systems including access control, CCTV, AV, and alarm systems.
You will be working on a variety of projects, from small residential installations to large commercial projects, providing a high level of customer service and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
Plan, install, program, and maintain a wide range of security systems including access control, CCTV, AV, and alarm systems.
Diagnose and repair faults in security systems, ensuring they function correctly and efficiently.
Carry out routine maintenance and testing on security systems to ensure they remain operational.
Respond to customer call-outs in a timely and professional manner.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers, explaining complex security systems in a way that is easy to understand.
Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work closely with the engineering team to develop and implement new security solutions.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the security industry.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security System Technician or similar role.
Proven experience with access control, electrical construction, electronic wiring, system installation, CCTV, AV, alarm systems, and alarm programming.
Strong understanding of the principles of electronic security systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
